Zhang Chuanwei was awarded the honorary trustee of Sun Yat-sen University!


On November 11, the Sun Yat-sen University Global Alumni Association Presidents Forum was held in Guangzhou to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Zhang Chuanwei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Mingyang Group and Vice President of the Sun Yat-sen University Alumni Association, was invited to attend the forum and was awarded the title of “Honorary Director”.
                                                  



At the forum, Zhu Kongjun, Party Secretary of Sun Yat-sen University, and Academician Gao Song, President of Sun Yat-sen University, jointly awarded Zhang Chuanwei the title of "Honorary School Trustee".



He said that Mingyang people dare to be the first to set the trend, follow the path of independent innovation and research and development, persist in innovation, work hard for a long time, dare to challenge and solve the "bottleneck" problem, and overcome a series of major key core technologies in wind and solar equipment manufacturing, and achieve a leap from following, running side by side to leading. At the same time, Mingyang has always adhered to the principle of universal love and benefit, and followed the path of green energy sharing, creating a series of new energy production scenarios and models such as the "Three Gorges on the Plateau" and the "Three Gorges on the Sea", and helping the "Rural Revitalization Energy Revolution", contributing green development solutions to the world.

In addition, Mingyang Group will sign an agreement with Sun Yat-sen University to establish the Mingyang Innovation and Talent Fund of Sun Yat-sen University, and will continue to use industry-university-research incubation funds to support the exploration of new energy, marine energy, advanced manufacturing and innovative cross-disciplinary subjects in the long term. The establishment of this fund will effectively drive the cultivation of talents and technological innovation in the new energy industry. Relying on Mingyang Group's deep accumulation and forward-looking vision in the industry, combined with Sun Yat-sen University's outstanding academic research and educational resources, it will provide a strong endogenous driving force for promoting energy structure transformation, industrial upgrading, and green and high-quality development.

That morning, Zhang Chuanwei also attended the founding ceremony and first annual forum of the Sun Yat-sen University New Energy and Intelligent Vehicle Alumni Industry Alliance and delivered a speech.
