Ming Yang Group and Xi'an Jiaotong University signed an agreement to jointly build an advanced energy joint research center



On November 17, Mingyang Group and Xi'an Jiaotong University signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly build an advanced energy joint research center. Zhang Chuanwei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Mingyang Group, and Zhang Liqun, President of Xi'an Jiaotong University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, jointly unveiled the joint research center.
                                                  



During the talks, Zhang Liqun welcomed Zhang Chuanwei and his party. He said that Xi'an Jiaotong University, relying on the Innovation Port, implemented the "6352" project to gather global innovation resources, explore and build a new model of "1121" deep integration of industry, academia and research with "one center, one incubation, two around, and one sharing", and create an innovation consortium led by leading enterprises, supported by universities and research institutes, and coordinated by various innovation entities. Mingyang Group is a global leader in the new energy equipment manufacturing industry. It is hoped that the two sides will strengthen the key core technology research in multiple fields such as advanced energy through comprehensive and high-quality strategic cooperation between schools and enterprises on the basis of deep cooperation, realize the joint setting of questions, joint answering, joint education and joint benefit between schools and enterprises, and closely cooperate in deepening application scenarios and expanding application fields, firmly grasp the future trends and major opportunities of green and digital, further expand the depth and breadth of school-enterprise cooperation, and contribute the strength of schools and enterprises to support the construction of a strong country.




Zhang Chuanwei said that Mingyang Group and Xi'an Jiaotong University have a deep relationship and have explored an innovative model of deep integration of production, learning and research in the long-term school-enterprise cooperation. He said that the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between the two parties to jointly build the Advanced Energy Joint Research Center is a new starting point for Mingyang and Xi'an Jiaotong University to face the future and move forward in the same direction, and to build Mingyang's Western Center and implement the Western Strategy. Talents, technology and other innovative support points for all factors. It is hoped that the comprehensive focus will be on the entrepreneurial platform to the innovation system, innovative talents to innovative projects, and multi-disciplinary majors such as clean energy, smart grids, flexible DC, materials, electrical and hydrogen energy. We will strengthen pragmatic cooperation in basic research, joint research, achievement transformation, scenarios and project applications, and jointly promote the coordinated development of education, technology and industry, create green new quality productivity, and contribute to the comprehensive green transformation of the economy and society and the construction of a new system of Chinese modern green digital economy.




Zhang Chuanwei and his delegation also visited the digital exhibition hall of the Western China Science and Technology Innovation Port to learn about the in-depth integration of industry, academia and research in the Innovation Port. Ge Changxin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice chairman of Mingyang Group, Wang Jinfa, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and executive director of the Central Research Institute of Mingyang Group, Rong Mingzhe, former executive deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Xi'an Jiaotong University and professor of the School of Electrical Engineering, and Li Xiaoyue, director of the Party Committee Office and the President's Office, attended the event.
