Exhibition Review | Mingyang's Dual Thin Film Technology Shines at SNEC

The 17th International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (Shanghai) Conference and Exhibition (SNEC) was held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center from June 13 to 15, 2024. As an excellent platform for displaying the latest technology routes, equipment manufacturing, and application models of the global photovoltaic industry, the exhibition attracted more than 3,500 companies from around the world to participate. The exhibition site was bustling with people.

Cadmium telluride | Second-generation light-transmitting technology, a better choice for BIPV

Mingyang Thin Film Technology brought a new generation of light-transmitting cadmium telluride photovoltaic glass to the exhibition. Compared with the first generation of traditional light-transmitting components, Mingyang Photovoltaic Glass's second-generation light-transmitting power generation components have better optical transmittance and purity without losing power generation, and the visual effect is more transparent, which can not only improve indoor comfort, but also increase the aesthetics of the building.

Mingyang photovoltaic glass has unique advantages in energy saving and energy creation. It is a green power generation building material specially designed for buildings. It can be widely used in building curtain walls, sun rooms, skylights, corridors and other fields. It can not only meet the requirements of building safety, beauty and light transmittance, but also provide economical and applicable green energy.

Perovskite | Innovative component stacking process accelerates industrialization

As an emerging technology in the photovoltaic field, perovskite technology has attracted widespread attention in the industry for its high efficiency and low cost. At this exhibition, Mingyang Thin Film Technology showcased the latest research and development results in the field of perovskite technology. These achievements include efficient and stable perovskite thin-film batteries and innovative component stacking processes. These technological breakthroughs not only improve the performance and stability of perovskite thin-film batteries, but also lay a solid foundation for subsequent industrialization.

The conversion efficiency of Mingyang Thin Film Technology's perovskite thin-film battery (trans structure) has reached 25.11% with third-party certification, which has reached the world's advanced level. The 300*300m㎡ perovskite module and stacking technology have also been completed and passed the module process verification, and the 100MW perovskite pilot line is being built.

Achieving the "dual carbon" goal has become a global consensus. Renewable energy represented by photovoltaics is of great significance to my country's dual carbon goals and energy structure transformation. Mingyang Thin Film Technology will adhere to the mission of "empowering buildings and making the world more beautiful", continue to increase R&D investment, continue to deepen the field of building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), provide green and environmentally friendly building materials with energy-saving and energy-creating functions for buildings, and contribute to achieving the "dual carbon" goal.
