On the morning of the 9th, Huang Kunming first came to the Innovation Center of Mingyang Headquarters to listen to the introduction of the company's R&D operations and the layout and development of the new energy industry by Zhang Chuanwei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Mingyang Group. When it was learned that Mingyang has been rooted in South Guangdong for more than 30 years, insisting on independent innovation and R&D and manufacturing, it has developed into a leading enterprise in China's clean energy high-end equipment manufacturing and an international industrial group at the forefront of global new energy. Huang Kunming praised Mingyang as a leading backbone enterprise of large-scale equipment. For more than 30 years, it has adhered to industry, innovation, and long-term efforts. He fully affirmed Mingyang's achievements in offshore wind power technology innovation, industrial innovation, and three-dimensional integrated development of marine economy, and encouraged Mingyang to continue to play the leading and driving role of a leading high-end equipment manufacturing enterprise, and strive to contribute to the creation of a "new Guangdong on the sea".


Huang Kunming said that as an important tool to achieve the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government attach great importance to the cultivation and development of leading new energy enterprises, especially in the strategic emerging industry of offshore wind power. They firmly support the growth and development of chain-leading enterprises, drive the development of industrial clusters, and promote the high-quality development of Guangdong's offshore wind power industry.

Entering the Mingyang Digital Energy Center, Huang Kunming learned in detail about Mingyang's full life cycle operation, maintenance and value management from digital wind turbines to smart wind farms. "How many levels of typhoons can it withstand?" "How to design the mooring system and automatic yaw?" "How to apply big data in marine ranches?" Huang Kunming attached great importance to and asked Zhang Chuanwei about the operation, industrialization and application demonstration of the world's first "dual-rotor" floating foundation and energy island. Zhang Chuanwei said that Mingyang's major scientific and technological innovations urgently need to be scaled up in Guangdong. Demonstration tests, so that major marine energy technologies and equipment such as floating "dual-rotor" large wind power equipment, and overall integrated innovations can be demonstrated and applied.

In Mingyang Tiancheng Laboratory, Huang Kunming went deep into the digital wind tunnel simulation experiment center, stopped to observe, and asked in detail about the construction of Mingyang's digital wind tunnel platform, the typhoon simulation load calculation of wind turbines, and the engineering application of deep-sea floating mooring systems. After learning that floating wind turbines can be industrialized and modularized, greatly reducing offshore operation time, and providing a safe, reliable, and low-cost solution for the large-scale and economic development of deep-sea offshore wind power, Huang Kunming fully affirmed Mingyang's adherence to innovation-driven development, achieving innovative breakthroughs in new energy high-end equipment, major components and key technologies, cultivating new quality productivity, and achieving high-quality development.


Zhang Chuanwei reported that Mingyang has become the world's largest brand in the global offshore wind power market with its excellent typhoon resistance, outstanding products and market competitiveness. Huang Kunming was very pleased after hearing this and encouraged Mingyang to make good use of its advantages in technology accumulation, aim at the key core technology of offshore wind power, continue to increase research and development efforts, gradually accumulate underlying data, break through more hard-core technologies, launch more hard-core products, actively explore diversified product application scenarios such as "offshore wind power + marine ranch", and firmly occupy the commanding heights of industrial development. He emphasized that we must fully support Mingyang to take root in Guangdong and become bigger and stronger, promote major scientific and technological innovation applications and project demonstration, build a global leader in the new energy industry and a leading enterprise in offshore wind power, support the construction of corporate innovation systems and innovation capabilities, and build an industrial cluster of high-end marine energy equipment.
