Shenzhen Shekou Building

The Shenzhen Shekou Building project is the first near-zero energy consumption building and near-zero carbon emission building in Shenzhen that was transformed from an existing high-rise office building. After the transformation is completed, the project is expected to generate 314,800 kWh of photovoltaic power annually.

While incorporating advanced technology, the project team designed the "Nanhai Picking Beacon" shape on the photovoltaic roof of the Shekou Building Annex. Through the rhythmic photovoltaic glass ridge line and the jumping of photovoltaic glass with different light transmittances, the building has new vitality to show the marine culture of Shekou and the characteristic style of the industrial heritage of Shekou Port.
