The East Hall of the Capital Museum, also known as the "Canal Boat", is located in Yongshun Town, Tongzhou District, Beijing, with a total planned area of approximately 112,000 square meters. The project's skylight uses hollow laminated BIPV power generation components, which, together with the North Canal and large areas of greening, serve as an ecological base for the interweaving of blue and green, forming a green space structure of "two belts, one ring, and one heart" in the city's sub-center.
A photovoltaic glass that can generate electricity and adjust its transmittance as needed has been embedded between the metal roofs shaped like water waves, becoming a new highlight of the Grand Canal Museum.
