On September 24, local time in Germany, the 2024 Hamburg Wind Energy Exhibition, a global event in the field of wind energy, opened at the Hamburg International Exhibition Center. At the exhibition site, Mingyang's booth was crowded with people, and industry experts, buyers and international media from all over the world stopped to learn about Mingyang's technological innovation in the development of new energy equipment and sustainable development. On the first day of the exhibition, Zhang Qiying, President of Mingyang Group's Global Intelligent Manufacturing Business and Chief Technology Officer, attended the CEO Forum and participated in the dialogue and discussion, sharing Mingyang's contributions to innovation and sustainable development.

In the development of a new generation of floating wind power platforms, Mingyang continues to expand the boundaries of offshore wind power development with advanced technology. At the exhibition, the miniature model of the world's largest floating wind power platform "Mingyang Tiancheng" attracted much attention. The platform has achieved many global firsts in the development of floating wind power, and has made many breakthroughs in wind turbine form and material application. As of now, the "Mingyang Tiancheng" has officially completed offshore installation, and it is expected to be connected to the grid for power generation at the end of October after commissioning. After the platform is officially put into operation, it can generate an average of about 54 million kWh of electricity per year, which can meet the daily electricity needs of 30,000 families of three for one year.

In addition, Mingyang Smart also displayed a large-megawatt sea and land wind turbine with "high power generation, high reliability and low power cost". Among them, the offshore wind turbine MySE14-260 unit inherits Mingyang's leading typhoon resistance technology advantages. Based on the design considerations of harsh environments such as typhoons and extreme waves in the South China Sea, it uses a 50-year extreme wind and wave flow design, which can withstand up to a typhoon of level 17.

The offshore wind turbine MySE18-260 adopts a flexible power design, with a maximum power of 20 MW and a rotor diameter of 260-292 meters. At present, the unit relies on the operating experience of more than 2,600 typhoon-resistant units of Mingyang Smart Energy, adopts active typhoon-resistant technology, and can withstand a typhoon of level 17.
