On December 28, the "2024 People's Finance Forum" hosted by People's Daily was held in Beijing. Wang Qinmin, Vice Chairman of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Director of the National E-Government Expert Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Liu Lianyu said that Mingyang Group has actively participated in the development of new energy. Its cumulative installed capacity has exceeded 100 million kilowatts, and it has put into operation more than 600 wind power projects. The environmental benefits generated are equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 72 million tons and reforesting 530 billion cubic meters each year.


"At present, the world's economic and energy transformation is moving from resource dependence to technology dependence. China's manufacturing industry has promoted the rapid development of the new energy industry with its technological advantages. With the deep integration with Internet technology, it will further accelerate the extension of the new energy industry chain, and then promote the construction of new power systems." He introduced that from digital manufacturing to digital wind turbines, from smart wind farms to smart energy, Mingyang Group has relied on technological innovation to establish intelligent demand management for the entire wind farm life cycle, and has used big data, 5G transmission, artificial intelligence and cloud computing as means to use digital intelligent platforms to achieve smart management and unmanned manufacturing.


Liu Lianyu said that through a series of technical equipment and innovative breakthroughs, the group has pushed offshore wind farms from nearshore to deep sea, and innovated the three-dimensional integrated development of offshore wind power, offshore hydrogen production, marine ranching, etc., which has driven the adjustment of energy, industry and economic structure and achieved the overlap of the coastal economic belt and the energy belt.


With the help of the energy revolution, the new energy industry ecological cluster is promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries such as shipping, steel, mining, and automobiles in my country, forming a trillion-level industrial cluster. Mingyang Group is building a zero-carbon economic park in the central and eastern regions of my country, concentrating wind and solar resources, driving rural revitalization through the "Wind Harnessing Action Plan", and building a new highland for the development of green zero-carbon industries.
